The rest of the hospital stay - Wallace

Our hospital stay was much easier this time.  We were barely there for 48 hours.  I knew I wanted to get out as quickly as possible.  For starters, I don't sleep well at all in the hospital.  And also, it's flu season.  So get me out of that sick place STAT.  We had a great night shift nurse named Tonicia.  And my doctors of course took great care of us.  Wallace passed all of his tests, and we were eager to leave on Wednesday morning.

In the meantime, we had some sweet visitors.

Daddy changed the first poop!  Woo hoo meconium.  Wallace and is a peeing and pooping machine.

John, Britt, and Thomas came up on Monday night.   Thomas (4 months) seemed so big next to a newborn.

Get it, Uncle John!

Megan and McNeil brought Caleb dinner and got some snuggles in on Wallace's first day of life!

Sweet little pumpkin Tuesday morning

Big Brother came back on Tuesday for more prizes from Gramme and Papa.  He was definitely spoiled rotten.

Ashley and Colton came up Tuesday night.  Wilson enjoyed seeing a buddy!

Uncle Sonny and Aunt Linda

Anna and Jon Michael - both ready to go to night shift work!

Travis and Christy

We are very thankful for an uneventful hospital stay.  I did have some post op pain, but I allowed myself to take my pain medicine on occasion.

Up next:  Coming HOME!
