Wilson's 1st Soccer Experience

Caleb and I were so excited about signing Wilson up for her first sport.  Soccer at our local YMCA starts at age 3 so we gave it a shot!

Wilson was clearly the youngest kid out there having just turned 3.  He was SUPER clingy and needed one of us holding his hands at all times at first.  I had to take both kids by myself for the first practice, and it was very interesting running around playing soccer while toting a 10 month old in my arms.

Luckily, super Dad has made it since then, and he even become one of the coaches for Wilson's team, the SHARKS!

Uncle Jordan and his GF Rachel came to several of his games.  So sweet!

Wallace was such a trooper for the 5:30 PM games.

Wilson eventually warmed up to the idea of playing soccer, but he was still quite mischievous.  We often found him climbing up the net of the goal or swinging the flags around.

Gigi brought snacks to one game - cupcakes and goldfish for the win!  Thanks for being so supportive.

Wilson made some great new friends, and we learned a lot.  Mainly that he's not quite ready for a sport, but it's very entertaining ; )
