So, never again will I wake up in the mornings and freak out about my belly not being big enough. That happened this morning, and tonight I am in absolute shock at how BIG it is. Wowzers. I really think some serious growth happened today. And I wouldn't doubt it because I had lots of round ligament pain last night and today.
How Far along? 17 weeks!
Size of the Baby? According to my phone, he’s the size of a turnip. About 5 inches and around 5 ounces.
Maternity Clothes? I have some, but I’m not really wearing them yet. A friend gave me some stuff last week, and I just picked up a pair of jeans I had hemmed. So I’ll probably be switching over soon. Right now it’s just easier to wear regular dresses while they still fit.
Gender? A baby BOY!!!! Ahhh!
Movement? He’s wigglin’, and I think maybe I feel something every now and then. But nothing regular or that I’m sure is him vs. just a rumbly in my tummy.
Sleep? Sleep is going great right now. I’m sleeping more than I thought I would at this point, and I love it! I wake up in the middle of night once to tee tee, and I’m ready to go again when the alarm goes off around 7 am. I don’t really understand how my bladder can hold so much urine, but it does.
Cravings? Still fruit. Anything cold. Ice cream. Smoothies. Doritos yesterday.
Symptoms? Reflux. I still vomit on occasion. I think I’m going to really have to completely avoid fried and greasy things. And I had a migraine last week. Yuck! I hope it’s the last one.
What I miss? A good ole sweaty workout. I walk, but it's just not the same. I've gone so long without a good workout that I'm afraid to start back right now. I know it's ok to do it because I tell patients that all the time, but I'm a chicken.
Milestones? finding out it's a BOY!!!!
Weight Gain? It totally depends on the time of day that I weigh. Somewhere around 6-8 pounds.
What I’m nervous about? Still the 20 week anatomy scan. And my allergies.
What I’m excited about? Seeing my college roommates for a girls weekend this weekend!
In honor of the first day of spring, Caleb took my 17 week pic on the back deck this afternoon. And man oh man do I have a belly. I'm blaming the way it looks on what I'm wearing plus how I'm holding my arms.
There's no doubt this girl is preggo!

LOOOVE the pic!! No doubt you are preggo for sure...you're adorable!! I don't think I have ever been as excited to see you as I am for Friday!!!!! I can barely sleep at night thinking about seeing you and the baby boy!!!!
