Wallace is 4

Our little Wallace turned 4 (on November 17), and we feel so blessed to be celebrating another year with our middle baby!  He had an "army man" birthday party including an obstacle course built all around our yard by Uncle Jimbob.  It was such a fun day!

4 year stats:
Weight:  35 lb. 9.6 oz.    45%
Height:  3 ft. 3 and 3/4 in.  34%
BMI 57%. 15.83

I still can't get over what a champ he was at his 4 year well check.  He did so great with his vision and hearing tests, BP check, and multiple immunizations and finger stick.  Not so much as whimper with shots!

Wallace is passionate, strong willed, smart, and a line crosser.  He LOVES sweets, especially marshmallows, reminding me daily to go buy some more at the grocery store.  He developed a love for fishing, especially with a casting net, at the lake and the ocean.  He is adventurous and so funny.  He tells me "my back hurts in my car seat" when he wants to get out of the car on a long car ride.  Lies.

He loves cooking grilled cheese sandwiches and blue box Mac and cheese.  His other fave foods are egg sandwiches and spaghetti.  He planted bell peppers in our mulch earlier this year and watered those seeds diligently.

He learned how to swim after 4 days of swim lessons at age 3.  He tells me to buy him a tuba and a long, sharp sword.  He tells me to "take the wrappers off" his hot dogs.  AKA the skin/peel on weiners.  He also rode his first roller coaster at age 3 when we took Wilson to Carowinds for his 6th b-day.

Wallace surprises us with his kindness - like letting Wilson take his turn to pick what movie we watch or to open the sunroof.  He really is generous and considerate of others.

For bedtime, he still sleeps with "Bunny" and asks me to flip his pillow over to the cool side.

He loves bow and arrows, swords, shields, and guns.  He tells me that he "loves everybody in the world except the devil."

Our prayer for you, Wallace, is that you will use your passion for the Lord's will.  We pray that you will ask Him to come live in your heart at a young age, and that He will guide all your steps in life.  We love you so much, little buddy!!!!

Love, Mommy and Daddy
