Scott & Jenny

Some of our very first friends in Spartanburg are preparing to move to Morocco for missions.  They are the sweetest, most encouraging, compassionate people we know.  Scott & Jenny have been our neighbors for 2 years.  They are both from large families in Spartanburg with plenty of friends.  Yet they still had room for 2 more friends (*us*), and we are forever grateful for that.

We helped throw them a going away party Sunday night, and it was so much fun!  I am TERRIBLE at change, and especially good-byes, but I'm trying to be okay with them leaving.  It's hard to argue with God's will, and they are such amazing servants.  He is going to use them in BIG ways, and I just can't wait to hear all of their stories.  They have been such a blessing in our lives already!

Our small group and their Sunday School class threw the party.  We hang out with these people every week, but we never take pictures.  I did manage to snap one of sweet Riley on Sunday.  Her mommy is the one sitting behind her.  They are such a precious family.  Katherine, the one holding her, is pregnant with she and Jason's first baby boy!  I love being able to hang out with the cute kiddos every week!

Anyway, it's bittersweet to see Scott & Jenny go.  We are so excited for them, yet sad not to have them right next door for much longer.  She makes some awesome banana bread periodically and brings it over.  Hopefully, she'll leave the recipe with me.  I know it won't be the same though, HA!  Thanks for being such great friends : )
