Biltmore House

One of the cool perks of Caleb's job is 2 free tickets to the Biltmore House in Asheville every year!  We are going to know so much about the Vanderbilt family that lived there, HA!  It really is a perfect date to go on each year.  We went for Valentine's Day last year, and it was so crowded.  We decided to go on a Sunday this time after early church, and there were hardly any lines at all!

I cannot imagine living in this place!  It's huge!  And so pretty!

The views from the porches are unbelievable.  We saw some people riding horses on these hills!

We also did another tour of the winery and wine tasting this time.  (Caleb tasted.  I avoided wine due to a recent migraine, but I had some incredible apple cider and raspberry lemonade.)

Caleb put his photography/timer skills to work in this picture so that we could see the house in the background.  Cool, huh?

The whole reason I wanted to go at this time of year was to see the house decorated for Christmas.  It looked so pretty with all the wreaths, bows, and garland.  It put us in the Christmas spirit, and I can't wait to decorate our house now!
