We reached the halfway point a week ago! I can hardly believe it!
How Far along? 21 weeks!
Size of the Baby? the size of a banana, according to my phone. But that's what it said for 20 weeks too, and I know he's growing, so....
Maternity Clothes? Almost always. I can still wear regular cotton dresses, but any pants and skirts I’m wearing are maternity. I’m a little bit obsessed with that big stretchy band.
Gender? A BOY, Wilson!
Movement? Yes! It’s awesome! Caleb felt him move for the first time about 2 weeks ago while we were watching Grey’s Anatomy. And for the second time this past Thursday during Grey’s. Maybe he’s gonna be a doctor when he grows up…? It really is an amazing miracle feeling him move around in there. Caleb LOVES to lay his hand on my belly and feel him kick, flip, and do whatever else he does! He put on a show Sunday night kicking like crazy. It comes in waves.
Sleep? Good. I have no trouble falling asleep, but I do wake up pretty early. I’ve never been one to wake up before my alarm, but I am now. Sometimes an hour before.
Cravings? Not too much lately. Still fruit. Cold fruit. And the other weird craving is those fried crispy things at oriental restaurants. Won tons? Is that what they’re called?
Symptoms? A rapidly growing belly, difficulty getting in and out of tiny spaces I could previously maneuver around. But overall, I feel great!
What I miss? Still just a good run/workout. Power walking will do for now. And a tan would be nice. I tried to get some sun at the lake this weekend, but only my front side turned red. Tanning is going to be a challenge this summer ; )
Milestones? Being over ½ way through the pregnancy! SO crazy! I’ve always thought 20 weeks sounded so far away, and we’re already 21. Ahhh! We also started a registry on Sunday for a few things. We’re still trying to make decisions about strollers (maybe splurge for a Bob?) and car seats (Chicco key fit 30 vs Britax B safe). Hopefully that milestone will be crossed by the next week : )
What I’m nervous about? Picking out bedding. I really wanna go choose the fabric and have someone make it for him, but it would be so much easier if I could just find something I like. Any advice?
What I’m excited about? All my friends having babies. I love sharing this special time with so many close friends. We’re all so blessed!

I am going with a Bob and Chicco key fit if that helps :) Lets work on that whole tanning thing this weekend!
Katherine, I went to a really good priced fabric store in gaffney and had a lady in greenville make all of his bedding, curtains, etc. She is amazing and is ridiculously priced. For bumper, bed skirt, curtains, valance it was just 135. I can give you her info if you decide to go that route!
