23 weeks

How Far along? 23 weeks!

Size of the Baby? An ear of corn, 1.5 pounds.  Grow, baby, grow!

Maternity Clothes? Most of the time.  All pants and skirts are maternity, but I’m still wearing regular dresses and shirts (most of the time).

Gender?  A boy!  Baby Wilson : )

Movement?  YES!!  And it’s the best!  We actually SAW him move in my tummy a few days ago.  Last night I laid on the couch for about 15 minutes and just watched him wiggle all around.  I love feeling and seeing him move.  So surreal.  Aunt Brittnee got to feel him kick last weekend at her bachelorette party.  Wilson was the only boy there...that makes him pretty special.

Sleep? Great!  I have been sleeping through the night the past few nights without even waking up to tee-tee.  If I go just before falling asleep, I can make it till around 7 am.

Cravings? The regular:  ICE CREAM.  I still love fruit.  And I really just love food in general right now.

Symptoms?  I feel pretty great.  Maybe a little tired after a long day at work, but I feel better if I make myself go for a walk.

What I miss?  Nothing!  I’m loving being preggo and am getting so excited! 

Milestones?  Wilson passing the 1 pound mark…that’s pretty cool.  And starting to get a bit more serious about the nursery.  Our crib and dresser will be here in the next few weeks, and the bedding came in.  I may have changed my mind about the bedding when I saw it in person because it’s more gray than blue, but I do love it.  I’ve got to decide soon.

What I’m nervous about?  Nothing really.  Feeling his movements is very reassuring.  I’m a little worried about the 1 hour GCT because my mom had gestational diabetes with us, and I really don’t wanna give up sweets.  But I’ll do whatever it takes to have a healthy baby.

What I’m excited about?  Starting on the nursery!  We have to get the current furniture out soon to make room for the new stuff.  It’s been a crazy couple of weeks so we’ll see if things slow down a bit.

The last 2 pics have been from my parent's house.  We stayed there for the past 2 and 1/2 weeks because of having our floors redone.  Long story, and I'll save it for another post.  But Caleb and I really enjoyed our 2.5 weeks there.  Thanks, mom and dad : )
