Caleb and I had a wonderful time celebrating our 4th anniversary Saturday night! His parents came up for the weekend to visit and watch little Wilson for us while we went out on the town! Thanks, ya'll!!!
We knew he was in good hands while we were gone, but we still missed him.
You know you're getting old when your date night begins at 5 pm with stopping for a coffee. Then we ended up at Devereaux's in downtown Greenville. We had been there once before but never just us. It was delicious. We had a 5 course meal, and it was amazing. They had an anniversary card and complimentary champagne awaiting us when we arrived. Caleb had bison and quail, but I stuck with pork and grouper, in addition to our amazing salad, scallops, and the dessert. It's a good meal when you have "pre-dessert." Yum!
Our reservations were at 6, but we were still eating at 7:40 and deep in conversation when Caleb realized the time. He had planned a private carriage ride for us at 7:45. I love a good surprise!
We ran out of the restaurant and across the street to the Westin to hop in our carriage. I felt like a princess!
After the ride, we walked around downtown for a while before coming home to our precious boy fast asleep in his crib.
It was a wonderful date night!
