G-Mac

Guess who we got to see today?  Our sweet little nephew Garrison, AKA G-Mac.  The Roberts (good family friends of the Massengills who keep Garrison) were in Spartanburg, and they took Caleb out to lunch.  I was able to come by and say hey and get a sweet kiss from Garrison before heading back to work.  G-Mac sent this awesome art work home with Caleb, and it's gonna look grrrrreat on the fridge.  Thanks, buddy!

This one isn't from today, but I can't resist adding another pic of Mister G-Mac.

I made white chicken chili tonight, and it has been added to our favorite recipes.  I'm always looking for yummy, healthy, easy recipes.

Caleb has been asking for months to go see the Sherlock Holmes movie, but I have been able to put it off with the excuse of "wait until it comes to the dollar theater."  Well, it's there.  My excuse is no longer valid.  So we spent 2 hours watching a guy movie tonight.  I must say though that the dollar theater in Spartanburg is a big hit in our book.  We were extra cheap by sneaking in Easter cakes, bottled water, and Sprite.  It's gotten expensive to go see a movie these days, and Caleb generally insists on getting popcorn, etc.

Anyway, it's amazing how much a happy little 2 year old can brighten your day.  Obviously, enough to convince me to go sit through a guy movie for 2 hours, haha.
