Even though most people do it, it felt kinda silly to me to have pictures taken while I'm obviously chunky. There are lots of changes your body goes through during pregnancy, and they aren't all pretty. However, I am constantly reminded my good family and friends that it's okay to gain some weight during these 9 months. In fact, it's a good thing. And it's okay to have a little more acne. Or a strange rash on your cheeks. Or a giant belly button. That one was weird, but we've just embraced it at this point. I will go through any of that stuff for a healthy baby boy next month!
So, Caleb and I jumped on the band wagon and took maternity pictures around 30 weeks. The best part was our good friend Lauren was able to take them! You should check her out here.
Here's a few of our pics from that hot afternoon in downtown Spartanburg.
This next one cracks me up. Caleb talks to Wilson a lot, and I feel like he always says "Hey Buuudddy!" in this cute little voice. His face in this picture looks like he just said the infamous hey buddy. You kinda have to hear it to get it, but it's pretty much adorable ; )
And here we embrace the umbilical hernia.
We are getting super excited, and I feel like these pictures just show our excitement!
